5.Samut Prakan ancient city
One of my absolute favourite activities in Bangkok is taking a day trip to the Ancient City. It’s a truly remarkable experience as it’s considered the largest outdoor museum in the world. You’ll be amazed by the impressive life-size replicas of Thailand’s famous monuments, with over 100 replicas to explore. The museum itself spans a vast area of over 200 acres, offering a captivating journey through Thailand’s rich history and culture. To make the most of your visit, I highly recommend renting a golf cart for convenient and comfortable transportation, especially to shield yourself from the sun. It’s a fantastic way to explore the museum at your own pace. And when you need a break, there are plenty of options for food and drinks available within the museum grounds.
