Some of the most breathtaking waterfalls in Bali can be found in North Bali. Munduk Waterfall, Gitgit Waterfall, Leke Leke Waterfall, and Banyumala Waterfall are among the top ones to visit. Personally, my favourite was Munduk Waterfall. What made it extra special was its secluded location, and when we visited, it wasn’t crowded at all. We had the entire place to ourselves, allowing us to fully immerse in the beauty and serenity of the waterfall. It was a truly magical experience.
2.Ulun danu Bretan Temple
Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, also known as the floating temple, is truly a gem among Bali’s temples. Perched on a lake and embraced by stunning flower gardens, it offers a picturesque and serene setting. Although the journey to the temple involves navigating winding mountain roads, the scenic drive is well worth it. If you visit in the early morning, you may encounter a mystical fog that blankets the surroundings, but as the day progresses, the temple’s beauty emerges in all its glory. While here, you can engage in various activities, including taking a boat ride, feeding the fish, observing exotic birds, and allowing the little ones to delight in feeding the rabbits. Ulun Danu Beratan Temple is a must-visit destination for those seeking tranquillity and breathtaking views in Bali.
3.Jatiluwih rice field
Jatiluwih, the largest rice field in Bali and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a breathtaking sight to behold. Its vibrant green landscapes stretch as far as the eye can see, creating a mesmerizing view. To fully appreciate the tranquillity and witness the farmers tending to their fields, it’s recommended to arrive early in the morning when the crowds are still minimal. Exploring the area offers opportunities for delightful walks along the hiking trails that wind through the rice fields. The irrigation system in Jatiluwih is remarkable, contributing to the lushness and productivity of the fields. After immersing yourself in the beauty of the rice terraces, take a moment to savor a delicious breakfast at one of the surrounding restaurants while enjoying a panoramic view overlooking this natural wonder. Jatiluwih is a must-visit destination for nature lovers and those seeking a glimpse into Bali’s rich agricultural heritage.

5.Climb mount batur for sunrise views
